Randy S. Steed
Founder, Co-Owner and President
Randy serves as the company's President and Chief Executive Officer.
He began his career in the North East working for Health Industries, advancing through their ranks to become Director of Construction and Engineering where he oversaw design, construction, and maintenance of 144 facilities in 26 states. Later recruited by a General Contractor in Silicon Valley, he starting as a project manager and was promoted to Vice President where he worked for 11 years during the high-tech boom of the 80's before starting Steed Construction, Inc. in 1988.
Randy enjoys donating his time and has served as President of the AGC (Associated General Contractors) of Idaho, as a member of the Advisory Board for Boise State Universities Construction Management Program, a board member of the Idaho Chapter of the March of Dimes, VP of Properties for the ORE-IDA Council of Boy Scouts of America and as a Governor appointed member of the PBFAC for the State of Idaho.
Randy and his wife Wendy have been married for 48 years and have 5 children, and 20 grandchildren.
Scott J. Raymes
Executive Vice President and Co-Owner
Scott began his career in the San Jose, CA as a union Carpenter where he completed his apprenticeship while attending San Jose State University.
Rising through the ranks as a Journeyman Carpenter, Foreman and Superintendent for large general contractors in Silicon Valley before deciding to move his family to Boise, Idaho in 1984. There he continued his career as a Superintendent, General Superintendent and Vice President of a Boise Based company before opening an Idaho branch office of Steed Construction in 1993 and then becoming a co-owner and Executive Vice President in 1995.
Besides his lifelong love of construction and his family, Scott has always had a passion for motocross macing and still actively competes in races to this day.
Scott and his wife Patricia have been married for 40 years and have 3 sons and 3 wonderful grandchildren.
Kevin M. Raymes

Vice President, Idaho Office
A graduate of Boise State he began his career in finance before joining Steed Construction as a project Engineer and then advancing to Project Manager and now Vice President of the companies Idaho operations.
His organization and attention to detail helps all project teams manage their projects to successful completions while maintaining schedules and budgets and superior customer service.
Skilled in building productive environments for all project stakeholders including owners, design professionals, subcontractors, vendors and governing agencies so that the project goals are accomplished in a friendly team atmosphere. Throughout his career Kevin has focused on strong communications and building lasting relationships that has been to everyone’s benefit.
Kevin and his Emily live in Boise with their new baby and their 2 dogs, Zero and Charlie.
Scott A. Steed
Vice President, Utah Office
Scott started at Steed Construction while obtaining his education from Utah State and Boise State Universities. With over 26 Years’ experience working in the construction Industry, he’s held several roles including; laborer, project engineer, and superintendent, project manager and account manager before leaving the company to work in the development arena. Scott returned to Steed Construction in 2012 as the Vice President over the recently created Utah office.
Over his career Scott has been involved with numerous types of projects ranging from office buildings and Schools to retail, hotels and resort condominiums. He is a founding family member of the Rolling Hills Charter School committee and served as a committee member for site selection and construction. He also served on the City of Boise Climate control advisory board and before starting his career, Scott served a full-time mission in Samoa.
Scott and his wife Allyson live in Holladay, UT and have 8 beautiful children.
Steed Construction Inc. was founded in 1988 by Randy Steed to provide General Contracting services to real-estate developer clients in Northern California. In 1993 a second office was opened by now Co-Owner Scott Raymes to extend those same services to clients based in Idaho. Currently located in Eagle, ID our corporate office also houses the company's Idaho operations managed by Kevin Raymes. In 2010, an additional office was opened in Utah to meet the expanding needs of our clients and is managed by Scott Steed.
Over the past 30 years our client base has expanded to not only include real-estate developers but all aspects of commercial construction making Steed Construction a strong leader in our industry.
By providing a high level of service with hands-on attention from our owners and key employees, the company has expanded its foot print into multiple states and has a strong following of repeat clients that includes major institutions and corporations along with individual users and real-estate developers.
To insure quality and a timely project completion, we have developed proven systems and employ experienced professionals and qualified subcontractors that meet our high standards. Each brings a specialty to enhance and complement our project teams.

Where we do business
Steed Construction is a regional commercial General Contractor with permanent offices in Idaho and Utah. We have become quite adept at building where ever our clients have needs.
